Dell slammed on earnings delay, SEC probe
Computer maker Dell said it is delaying its earnings report, originally set for this afternoon, and shares tumbled more than 4.3% on the news. The company said it will issue the report later this month after the Securities and Exchange Commission stepped up its investigation into the company’s accounting practices. Dell said the complexity of the inquiry is causing the delay.
