Dell cuts prices on many U.S. corporate products
Dell on Monday said it had cut prices across a broad range of products aimed at U.S. corporate customers as the computer maker passed along price declines in underlying components.
The Round Rock, Texas-based company, the world’s largest maker of personal computers, said it was reducing prices on server computers, workstation, desktop and notebook PCs and flat-panel computer displays.
The price reductions reflect lower prices for components such as memory chips, computer hard disks and microprocessors, a Dell spokesman said. Dell provided no average estimate of the extent of the cuts for various products.
