Dell bundles 250MB Zip drives with desktops
Dell Computer is now offering the new Iomega Zip 250 drive as an option with its Dimension and OptiPlex desktop PCs and Dell Precision WorkStations.
The Zip 250MB drive is backward-compatible with Zip 100MB disks, which have been offered with Dell computers since 1997. Both drives are covered by a three-year system warranty.
The Zip 250MB disks provide 170 times more capacity than a standard high-density 3.5" floppy disk. Additionally, the drives write up to 52 times faster.
