December notebook panel contract price decline reported
Weak business notebook demand coupled with increasing supply from Taiwanese and South Korean producers has caused the price of 14.1 and 15" notebook TFT LCDs scheduled for shipment this month to fall to US$180-190 and US$205-215, respectively, down by US$5 and US$10 from last month, according to the Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun .
