EA Ditching Plans for PC Version of Dead Space 2
In dead space, no one can hear PC gamers scream.
It seems that the PC versions of console games are getting less common. The first Dead Space enjoyed a higher-resolution stint on the PC while equally entertaining gamers on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Sadly, the sequel doesn't appear to be hitting the PC, as it wasn't listed in the company's Fiscal Q4 2011 schedule.
Blue's News inquired regarding the omission, and was told by EA public relations that: "As of right now, a PC sku is not in the plan."
This would put Dead Space onto the list along with Halo, Gears of War and some of the EA Sports games.
It's another sad day for PC gamers.

noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
This blatent persecution of PC gamers wants to stop. First Modern Warfare 2, and now this.
The bigger they get, the harder they fall! Let that be a warning to you all!
Its hard to understand why are they doing this. Is it because of piracy. XBOX piracy isnt so low compared to pc. There could be of course microsofts payment for the exclusive game. And they are talking about 2011 Q4 , almoust 2012. So grafics diference on PC and XBOX shoud be alot more noticable (maybe that could be one of the reasons).
I couldn't agree more rab1d, Most console ports to PC play like utter shite (MW2 is an exceedingly prevalent example of this). I dont really see why a company like EA is seeking to limit their market to PS3 and Xbox only. Seems daft to miss out on the biggest sector of the gaming market. But who am i to argue with these massive conglomorates...
they can f**k off and die.
loved deadspace.
hate consoles.
bye bye isaac.
FFS EA wankbags
Maybe it just isn't worth the costs to port the game for PC's. Shouldn't be that hard with the Xbox version, but still.
Piracy is making it harder and harder for PC games. And DRM isn't making it easier as that just encourages more piracy
Why shouldnt it be that hard with the xbox version?
Contrary to rather popular belief the Xbox is simply NOT a random Dell in a fancy case.
They both utilise the same/similar d3d arcitecture and other various api technologies.
Theres a reason why most of the 360's exclusives end up on PC,
At the very least compare it with the alledged pain of developing for PS3.
one less made by EA DRM made for console pile of crap to worry about. I hope this makes room for a smaller better company.

nope today its much more easier consoles piracy than PC piracy. PC piracy today its much more complex for the medium users, general a worker that like to buy games and dont want to waste his time for piracy...
anyway if you like a game buy it !!
