DRAMeXchange: DDR2 prices teeter on the edge, while NAND flash takes the plunge
The cyclical downturn of PC demand has prolonged the trough in DRAM spot pricing. Through the week of March 21-27, only the DDR segment managed to buck the seasonal trend, with prices recovering slightly or remaining flat. The relative strength of DDR pricing compared with DDR2 should persist over the next few weeks, as DDR2 prices are expected to drop further, according to DRAMeXchange.
