DRAM makers have informed major PC OEMs that they intend to raise contract prices for DDR2 memory for the first half of this month, according to sources. Although the range of the increase has still not been finalized, the sources indicated that PC OEMs may confront decreased DDR2 supply if they decline to agree to the increase.
