D-Link: Demand for Gigabit Ethernet switches to surge by year-end 2005
Demand for Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switches is expected to surge substantially by the end of 2005 due to a narrowing of the price gap between the GbE and 10/100 Mbps switches, predicts JC Liao, president of Taiwan-based networking equipment maker D-Link.
