The CPL symbol is known all around the world.
Since June of 1997 there has been a new face in the world of computer gaming, the Cyberathlete Professional League. From its fledgling days of 300 gamers at an event simply called 'The Frag' in October of 1997, the CPL has been growing. Since then, the CPL has become an organization that has hosted over 20 major events in the United States and upwards of 60 large events worldwide. This summer is no exception to the scope and grandeur envisioned by its founder, Angel Munoz, when he started this journey called the CPL.

High class meets high skills.
The Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas was the home for this summer's event. Angel said, "Get the absolute best venue possible." And that was exactly what this facility had to offer. Nestled on Lake Grapevine with four-and-a-half acres of indoor gardens, a river and miles of walkways under its glass atrium, this venue was not a typical place for a LAN party.
