Crysis 2 Gets an Official New Release Date

by - source: Tom's Hardware UK

Mark you calendars!

Earlier this month we learned that Crysis 2 was getting delayed from the holiday sesason of this year into early next year.

Those who have shiny new systems built so that they can answer "the question" will have to wait a few months into 2011 to find out.

A tweet from the official Crysis Twitter stream reads:

Crysis 2's new release date: March 22nd, 2011 in North America and March 25th, 2011 in Europe

Along with that message is the first screenshot from the multiplayer mode, which looks like this:

Christ reCaptcha needs to be brought in to stop these spammers.

And yay I can't wait to see how badly my 9800GTX+ fails at 1920x1080 resolution -.-

I just cant understand why anybody from Toms is not doing anything about it. Its been going on for months now and its the same guy doing it. Cant they just block his I.P addresses or something? Im getting to the point im gonna stop comming here.

I think this one wins the prize for the most spam per article.

Do you think they target the spam to the articles that people are more likely to read? i've seen many articles with nothing then news about crysis 2 gives us 5!. in which case its a person doing it, captcha won't help. .50 cal to the head might though, or is that bf2bc?

Are we really going to fall for the bloatware that was Crysis that crippled decent systems and give the makers some kind of kudos again? Software sites should blank this game if it proves too diffcult for decent systems to run.

Go and play peggle then.
