Crush Becomes nForce
It sometimes seems that tech companies could set aside unnecessary confusion by either coming up with a name for their products before discussing them or just sticking to the "codenames" once the things are produced. Is it a Coppermine or a Tualatin or a Pentium III? I digress. The Register tells us that Nvidia's Crush chipset will be officially marketed as nForce. Apparently, MSI let the name slip in a recent press release for its MS-6367 motherboard. We think that Crush was a much cooler name.
