CRT producers reduce production to maintain price stability
After a small price hike in February, the world's major CRT (cathode ray tube) producers - Samsung SDI, LG.Philips Displays (LPD) and Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) - planned to raise prices again in April. However, they found demand weakening instead and were forced to reduce production, producing only for orders on hand and arranging production line workers to take more leave.
