Creative's Flashy PC Camera
Creative just introduced a new line of PC cameras that you can take along with you as a digital camera or hook up to your computer to use as a webcam. The PC-CAM 300 has a CCD image sensor, multi-mode flash, and 8MB memory. Creative says the camera stores up to 128 snapshots at 640x480 resolution or 255 snapshots at 320x240 resolution when it's detached from the PC. The PC-CAM 300 can also record up to 75 seconds of full-motion video or 34 minutes of audio and comes with a software bundle for videoconferencing, web publishing, and photo editing. It comes with a cradle to hold it on top of your monitor, a wrist strap for when you take it out for a walk, a USB cable, and four AAA batteries. The PC-CAM Model 300 is said to be on its way to retail and online stores right now for around US$149.99.
