Court bars DVD-cracking code
A federal judge in New York has moved to stop three programmers from posting DVD descrambling software on their web sites.
The preliminary injunction was sought by eight Hollywood studios, who say they are acting to protect copyrighted materials and trade secrets from code crackers.
A trial in the New York case has not yet been set.
