How low can prices go: 2 GB Compact Flash for $47 at Costco
Digital camera fanatics will like this deal that we spied at our local Marina Del Rey, California Costco. The warehouse chain is now selling SanDisk Ultra II 2 GB Compact Flash cards for $48. The actual price is about $80, but you get an instant rebate of $32 at the register.
Of course it was only a matter of time before 2 GB cards dropped below the $50 mark, but we honestly didn’t think it was going to happen this year. If you remember back a couple years, 2 GB Compact Flash cards were going for a few hundred Dollars.
The big rebate could mean even larger capacity cards are coming down the pipeline for Costco. Previously the company has added rebates to quickly move inventory for higher capacity Flash cards.
While this deal should be good for most Costco stores, you may want to give your local store a call just to make sure it’s valid.
