Corel Corp. is creating a desktop version of Linux designed for consumers.

Due for introduction at LinuxWorld Expo in San Jose, Calif., next Tuesday, the "tears-free" Linux OS is aimed at providing non-technical users with a "zero learning curve," according to a Corel spokeswoman.
