Copy-protect scheme creates self-destructing files

Infraworks Corporation, a company with connections to the US military, has developed a copy-protection technology that integrates numerous layers of protection to prevent the hacking of files - the most interesting being the self-destruction of the file itself. While many security experts, including encryption guru Bruce Schneier, believe that no technology will prevent the widespread electronic distribution of all content, others see a potential use in the technology as a tool for assuring privacy and protecting communications.
