Controversial PlayStation emulator coming to Windows
Connectix Corp. is continuing to develop a Windows version of its Virtual Game Station, despite a temporary restraining order.
The order was granted Thursday to Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., maker of the Sony PlayStation.
MacWEEK.com reports that Sony has demanded that Connectix suspend all development of a forthcoming Windows version of the PlayStation emulator, handing over all work in progress and cancelling all future work on the project.
However, the MacWEEK.com report states that Connectix is unfazed by the suit, and intends to forge ahead with the Windows emulator.
