Conservative party announe plans to ban mobile phones in schools
The Conservative Party plans to keep British kids in line by taking away their lines of communications.
The party’s plan to ban mobile phones in schools comes in answer to the growing problem of happy slapping (if you don’t know what that is, you’ve been living under a rock and I’ll refer you to YouTube).
The Tories believe that the young’uns have too much power in todays classrooms and that a large part of that power could be returned to teachers by cracking down on the use of mobile phones.
Apparently banning phones is not only going to help discipline kids but also crack down on truancy. Hate to break it to the Tories, but bunking off class isn’t exactly a huge operation. You don’t need a phone to plan it. . . [You’d know -Ed]
Bottom line is, kids these days have no respect for their elders. Well, that’s what happens when you get rid of corporal punishment, I guess. [And National Service. Don’t forget National Service. -Ed]
