Who's The Cooler Master?

by

Cooler Master had a large display of new devices. Yesterday, we showed you Asus's new dual 6800 Ultra on a single card solution. In Cooler Master's booth they proudly displayed the card, which happens to be using their thermal solution.

One swing in cooling preferences we have seen this year is the move to self-contained water cooling units.

Here you can see Cooler Master's involvement with chassis builder Chenbro, to develop the first mainstream self-contained 1U server water cooling solution.

In addition to various cooling devices, Cooler Master has also developed its business designing their own cases for the enthusiast market. Coming in at somewhere around $200, the Stacker 830 is a high-end aluminum case.

Here you can see that if you desire extreme air cooling, you can mount up to six 120 mm fans into this case. Airflow should certainly not be an issue here!

Case accessories are another area where makers have migrated to fill their margins; it is a complimentary move for their chassis and cooling products. One new product is the Musketeer 3 amplifier, which fits in a 5.25" front panel bay. This amplifier uses classic vacuum tube technology for use with headphones. It merely amplifies the sound from the computer's audio device and is not intended to replace an existing sound card.

The vacuum tube amplifier is clearly a must have for enthusiasts that crave to display classic technology with the rest of their current bleeding edge hardware.
