Asus

Once again, Asus proves to be innovative and shows a rather large number of products at Computex, such as Game LiveShow, which is a firmware add-on to graphics cards. It allows for real-time recording of 3D video into an MPEG 4 file. Of course, you will have to use a rather powerful CPU (maybe even a dual core) in order to get that done without interrupting the game play.
Another feature that Asus is showing off is called Splendid, which is a video processing function that allows for brighter colors and better contrast. It is done in real time, so again this might require some CPU power.

Splendid might make a difference. However, if the video source material is good enough, there should be little need for Splendid. On the other hand, low quality videos might benefit visibly.

Asus' Wireless TV out the box allows for the transfer of the video out signal directly to your TV using 802.11.

Remember our A8N-SLI Premium review ? The board has not yet been shipped because Asus was working on a fanless cooling solution. Now it's ready to go.
