  • 1. Tom's 10th Anniversary Meets Computex 2006

Are you in town for Computex? Feel free to stop by at our booth: Hall 1, #133-135.

Our long-time readers probably remember the early Tom's Hardware show coverage, which goes back as far as 1997. The Internet media landscape was cozy and personal at that time, and there were real secrets to discover. Over time, the Internet became less intimate, but it also won professionalism and proved to be invaluable. Tom's Hardware has also changed over time. We grew and we matured, and this year we're proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary. This is reason enough to upgrade our coverage, because we are eager to deliver more fun and more value to you. Don't miss our daily coverage, slide shows and Tom's Hardware on-site videos, which can now be watched as Windows Media streaming Video.

We also man a Computex booth this year. If you happen to be at the show you will find TG Publishing in Hall 1, Booth #133-135. We will conduct video interviews, so chances are good that you meet executives or IT hardware luminaries.

What can we expect from this year's Computex? Secrets are usually discovered long before their tenants intended, so there are many news that cannot be called news any more. Nvidia will show off its dual GPU GeForce 7900 cards and nForce 500 chipset family. Intel finally unveils its 965 desktop chipset family, which will host the Core 2 Duo processor that will launch in July. AMD's socket AM2 platform generation was launched on May 23, but Computex will show a large variety of motherboard solutions.
