Once again, it's Computex time. Though the show is starting approximately three and a half months later due to SARS. Today, hardly anybody talks about it any more, just as if it had never been a problem. Today, hardly anybody talks about it any more, just as if it had never been a problem. I just hope it doesn't return, since the damage to the economy in Asia was quite huge, not to mention the human casualties.
Anyway, life has to go on, and we try to communicate the latest advances and show you some new interesting products once again. The first and probably best visible advance is the building next to the exhibition area. It is called Taipei 101 (according to the number of floors) and is expected to be the tallest building in the world. It is probably more than that, as we can definitely see at Computex. There are more exhibitors than before, importance of this show is still raising - even though CeBIT Asia tried to steal some attention last week.
