Matrix-type metering is the best choice for day-to-day use!

The Playback menu lets you choose what will be displayed by default.

The choice of image with superimposed histogram will probably be the most judicious...

You can choose to show information on your choices on the rear display; this is recommended for beginners...

Don't forget to set the transfer mode correctly if you want to connect the istDL to your PC.
