I review three tri-LCD video projectors here. They are listed in the table below along with three key specifications.
ANSI Lumens measure the brightness of a video projector. The higher the Lumen rating is, the brighter the images produced by the projector. Contrast Ratio is measured as the amount of light in the projected image at maximum brightness divided by the amount of light in the projected image at minimum brightness. The higher the number to the left of the semicolon is, the higher the contrast capability of the projector. Resolution is the number of pixels displayed horizontally and then vertically. All of these projectors are capable of producing High Definition images at 720p or 720 non-interlaced vertical lines of resolution. Also, they can convert higher resolution HD images into 720i or 720p images. All of the projectors use three LCDs (red, blue and green) to produce images.| ANSI Lumens | Contrast Ratio | Resolution | |
