Compaq unveils EZ2000
Compaq has announced plans to introduce a line of inexpensive, streamlined PCs featuring wireless links and digital cameras.
The new Presario EZ2000 PC models will start at $999.
Taking up roughly a third of the desktop space of a normal-sized PC, the EZ2000 PCs will feature Intel Celeron and Pentium III processors. They will come equipped with easy-to-use features such as one-touch Internet access, and expansion panels to add additional memory, peripherals, or hard drives.
