Compaq to launch Windows 2000 box in January
Compaq says it will ship Windows 2000-based systems to its customers on Jan. 24 - well ahead of Microsoft's planned Feb. 17 launch of the new OS.
Compaq and other OEMs received the final code for Windows 2000 Professional, Server, and Advanced Server on Dec. 15.
