Compaq introduces 56K modem for palm-size PC
Compaq Computer has announced the availability of a 56K V.90 modem as an option for its Aero 2100 color palm-size PC.
The Compaq 56K CompactFlash modem, with Plug-n-Play Hot-Swap capability, can be added to the Aero 2100 without having to set up the modem or even turn off the Aero. At just one-third of an ounce, the modem adds little weight to the unit and, because it slides into the existing expansion slot, has virtually no impact on its size.
More details on the Aero 2100 and Compaq's other handheld products are available at the company's web site at www.compaq.com
