Compal: Recall of Toshiba PDAs poses little impact
In a filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE), Compal Electronics said that Toshiba's recall of some Pocket PC e740s will have little financial impact on the contract manufacturer. The voluntary recall, announced on October 21, involves fewer than 10,000 units. Compal will have to pay for shipping expenses for the product exchanges.
