COMDEX: Thumbscript's Feather Touch Input Device

OK, I'm not going to knock it until I try it, but my need for 75 words a minute may keep me from using this device based on the company's claims. Then again, I used to think that touch pads were bizarre and now I use one everyday on my desktop machine. Thumbscript's USB Feather Touch Input Device is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and lets you enter any character on a standard keyboard with a "connect-the-dots finger" stroke, by which, I guess, you basically draw each letter. The company guarantees you can input 20 words a minute using it instead of a keyboard. Thumbscript says the device can also be used with wearable and mobile computers along with telephone keypads, Palm OS devices, and touch screens. Korean and Japanese versions of the system have also been developed. The Thumbscript Feather Touch Input Device is priced at $199.99.
