CMO licenses LCD monitor patents from Thomson
Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) recently announced that it has licensed all of Thomson Licensing’s LCD monitor-related patents. Thomson Licensing is the licensing arm of Thomson, which had earlier acquired RCA and the consumer electronics business of General Electric to become one of the world’s largest TV brands.
