Clairvoyante talks about brightening the panel
Clairvoyante, a display technology developer and patent-licensing company in the US, claims panels using its patented PenTile Matrix technology consume less power, are brighter, have a higher contrast ratio, a lower production cost and higher yields than standard panels. Major display makers such as Samsung Electronics and Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) have displayed panel prototypes using the company’s technology. DigiTimes recently had the chance to interview company president and CEO Joel M. Pollack about its business model, competitiveness and future plans.
