2K Games lifts the curtain off huge Civilization expansion pack
New York (NY) - Civilization IV : Beyond the Sword, referred to by 2K as the largest Civilization expansion yet, is now available for fans of the PC strategy game.
Beyond the Sword is the second expansion to Civ IV, which came out in 2005. The Warlords expansion came out a year ago almost to the date, on July 24, 2006.
The list of new additions in Beyond the Sword is vast, and includes an expanded game, 11 new scenarios, ten new civilizations, 16 new civilization leaders, and five new "wonders". There’s also a new feature that allows players to create their own corporations, along with expanded content for espionage and space features.

Beyond the Sword is not a standalone expansion pack, meaning gamers need to own the original Civilization IV title to use the expansion.
The new expansion pack is available today at a list price of around $30.
