Culver City (CA) - Cingular and Samsung are partnering up to release a new phone that is cool enough to play music and video while being professional enough for the office. High-quality videos from HBO, which includes episodes of Sopranos and Sex in the City, can be streamed through Cingular Video.
BlackBerry devices with their full QWERTY keyboards have ruled the corporate markets, but the BlackJack hopes to make a dent. The BlackJack also contains a full keyboard and has Microsoft Outlook Mobile installed. Users can synchronize their calendars, contacts and other information over the air.
The BlackJack will should be available shortly for $200, but buyers will need to subscribe to a two-year unlimited data plan service.
