Chunghwa Picture Tubes adopts TFT LCD gate driver IC from Topro Technology
Following AU Optronics (AUO) and HannStar Display, Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) has decided to adopt Topro Technology's TFT LCD gate driver ICs, said Topro president Lin Ming-guan. Topro, which is carrying out test production for CPT, expects to ship 90,000 units per month in the third quarter and 100,000 per month in the fourth quarter.
