Chipset makers positive about Q1 2006 despite seasonal effects
Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) anticipates its chipset shipments will grow sequentially in the first quarter of 2006, following Via’s recent positive estimate for the same period.
In addition, ULi Electronics stated that shipments of its southbridge chips bundled with northbridges from ATI Technologies will continue to climb throughout the first quarter of next year.
