Chipset designers put greater concern on new K7 products
Despite the long-awaited launch of K8-core Opteron processors from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), chipset designers are currently occupying themselves more in preparing products for AMD's upcoming K7-platform, 400MHz FSB (front-side bus) Athlon XP processors, aimed at the relatively larger desktop market.
