Chip suppliers pessimistic about Q2 PC market
Some chip suppliers have expressed pessimism about the PC market in the second quarter, as demand for Windows Vista is not expected to pick up during the traditionally low season. Sources with a major quartz crystal oscillator supplier said the PC market did not see Vista generate the replacement demand that had been expected in the first quarter.
