Final Assembly Process

The final assembly process is very action packed and takes just under four minutes. This stage unites all of the parts for final assembly. While you might think this process would be involved, it isn't. Because of the modular design of the case, everything goes together quite quickly. In fact, if you look at the pictures, you might be surprised at how few assembly stations perform this process. Watch as the Xpider/Gaming Bomb is assembled.

The parts arrive for the final assembly process and are placed on the floor behind each station. As the cases are in final assembly, the numbers of parts used are tracked, and more parts are brought in as necessary to complete the process. In addition, parts such as plastics, drive cages, screws and other required miscellaneous parts required to complete the final assembly process are brought here. What is amazing is that the final assembly takes less than four minutes to complete.

In this picture, the front ports are secured to the front of the case. Impact tools are used where possible to speed up the process. These impact tools are calibrated and adjusted to complete the process correctly, without causing any damage to the finished product.
