China CoreTech and Agilent Technologies have jointly announced the successful verification of China's first 32-bit CPU chip, Arca-1, on the Agilent 93000 SOC series test system. This chip has integrated a 32-bit Arca RISC processor core with numerous other functions on one chip, making it a highly integrated microprocessor aptly suited for use in network computers, broadband clients, set-top boxes, digital TVs and industrial PCs.
