Chicago posts redlight camera footage online
Chicago (IL) – Chicago will soon be putting red light camera footage online. City officials hope the move will convince red light violators to pay up faster. Violation papers will now include a passcode that will unlock digital still photos and a 12-second video clip of the violation on the city website.
Chicago’s 39-intersection red light camera system generated more than 304,000 tickets in 2006.
