Cheertek, ALi and Sunplus license video compression technology from DivXNetworks
Three Taiwanese optical chip designers - Cheertek, ALi and Sunplus Technology - have all licensed DivX video compression technology from US-based DivXNetworks for their DVD chip solutions, according to statements released by DivXNetworks on May 20 and 21.
