Celeron prices drop
Intel has lowered prices on its Celeron chips for budget desktops.
Following the introduction of its 533MHz Celeron last week for $167, the company has unveiled 5 percent to 10 percent cuts for its other Celeron chips.
The 500MHz socketed Celeron has been lowered 10 percent, to $128, while the 466MHz version now goes for $89, a 5 percent cut. The 433MHz chip, received a 5 percent decrease to $69.
