CeBIT 2007: Samsung introduces 30" LED-backlit monitor
Samsung has introduced a 30" LCD monitor that uses LED lighting as the backlight. The SyncMaster XL30 can, according to Samsung, transmit colors in their "true form"
The monitor has a monstrous 2560 by 1600 pixel resolution, 3000 to 1 contrast ratio and a very high 2ms response time. Brightness is 300 cd/m2. There is also an on-board USB hub.
