Genius: Ergonomics For Mice And Keyboards

by

Genius, a European mouse and keyboard manufacturer, has been in the business for over 20 years. The trend for these products today is more color and better ergonomics - mice are given better manufactured buttons and require less power consumption; better loading stations increase the prevalence of cordless versions. Thanks to higher scanning rates, new mice are also suitable for games.

Regarding design, there is a growing demand for unusual "light games" and exchangeable upper shells. In terms of keyboards, the trend is more towards writing comfort. Flat, small-format versions will establish themselves, as they allow a more natural writing posture. Multi-USB connections are also becoming standard equipment along with cordless capabilities, scroll wheels and a wealth of multimedia hot keys.

Hyundai ImageQuest L72D At 8 Ms

The trend is clearly moving in the direction of faster and faster displays. Hyundai will also be showing very fast 19" and 17" flat display screens with the ImageQuest Series, in Hall 21, Booth B17. The reaction time of the active-matrix display is said to be around 8 ms, so the ImageQuest L72D is ideal for showing off the latest films and 3D games. A contrast ratio of 700:1 and brightness of 300 cd/ m² are designed to produce a clear and homogeneous picture, and a digital connection (DVI-D) completes the package. The corresponding DVI signal cable is also provided. Hyundai recommends a retail price of $369; the guarantee is valid for 3 years, including on-site service.
