Even if the last few diehard pessimists don't want to admit it, CeBIT 2004 in Hannover will confirm the trend: After a three-year industry low, things are starting to look up. Still, just under 6,000 exhibitors booked 300,000 square meters of booth space - that's 600 fewer than last year (2003: 348,000 square meters of space). The trade fair management appears cautious with regard to attendance figures. They are counting on 600,000 attendees - a more precise prediction is not possible. This year, CeBIT runs from March 18 to 24. THG already has an overview of the major highlights.
