IGP Axion Series: Three Monitors, Independent And Simultaneous
The IGP AXION series represents the first motherboards in the world where integrated IGP graphics do not automatically shut off when other graphics cards are connected. This is the first time that integrated graphics can really be used to good purpose without wasting additional graphics cards. The feature is called SURROUNDVIEW, and it allows three monitors to be operated on one system when a card capable of dual monitoring is switched in. That will allow this motherboard to control three monitors - independently of one another as well!
The desktop can be drawn over three monitors, or three standalone desktops can be chosen that allow the replication rate to be set individually for each screen. Along with the features typical of the Sapphire, such as Hyper-Threading support and OpenGL, the Pixel Shader 1.4 Standard makes the graphics, integrated for the first time into the IGP AXION motherboard series, interesting for gamers as well. The IGP 9100 combined with the 9800XT Ultimate means that right now, gaming couldn't get more fun.

PCI Express With New ATI Chip
With the production of PCI Express-capable graphics cards, Sapphire is equipped for the future, because PCI Express is the new graphics card standard. Because of this, ATI, instead of modifying old chips, has developed a new chip especially for PCI Express. What else is there? The RADEON 9800 and RADEON 9800SE are being offered with Dual DVI-I and VIVO. Whether 2x analog or 2x digital or combined - anything is possible with these cards! Sapphire (Hall 23, B50) is presenting its new cards based on the Radeon 9200, 9600 and 9800 at CeBIT.
