Just in time for Intel's launch of Centrino Mobile Technology, Toshiba presents its Portégé R100, weighing in at only 1.08 kg and therefore the world's lightest WLAN notebook, according to the manufacturer. This device is based on Intel's Centrino Mobile Technology, and when used with a high capacity battery, it can have an operating time of up to six hours.
Apart from the attractive design and the light weight, the Portégé R100 pleases with its thin profile of only 14.9/ 19.8 mm, which makes it suitable for stowing away in any briefcase.
