Casio using a-Si technology for OLED displays
Casio has used amorphous silicon (a-Si) technology to produce an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display at 30% lower production costs than required by LTPS (low-temperature poly-silicon) OLEDs, the Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun reported yesterday.
