GMC Toast Cases Pick Up Discs Vertically
GMC is a case manufacturer that we weren’t familiar with. The firm offers an entire lineup of extraordinary cases, mostly based on a design that incorporates its patent to install the optical drive vertically. The R2 Toast series has a sleek and stylish design and is available in seven different colors including black, white and fancier colors. The R2 Toast cases are particularly compact and belong into the mini tower category at their 180x290x420 mm. However, they still accommodate full-size ATX motherboards and a standard power supply unit.
We found that the R2 Toast cases were well finished, but they have one shortcoming : The only externally available 5.25” drive bay is the one into which you install the optical drive. Apart from that, there are three internal 3.5” bays. Luckily, there are front USB ports.
